Muchkin's Musings: An Introduction

Hi Everyone-
I thought I'd start this blog by explaining what the basis for it is, and why I thought I would post some of this information about some of the products we've been using so frequently.

After looking online and trying to find others that had done reviews on various products in specifically relation to allergy disorders and the aggravation of other medical conditions, I found that while there are probably quite a few that offer this type of information, there aren't as many written by consumers that have documented their experiences with these products. While going by ingredient lists and things of that nature is invaluable when choosing products for any purpose, what we've found is that it is possible to have a reaction to pretty much anything, be it labeled organic, natural, or otherwise. While the means by which a product works and how effective it is certainly dependent on the individual, and in many cases the success or failure by which it does work isn't pre-determined by another's experiences, sometimes the collective knowledge of whether or not a product is worth trying is very helpful and provides a starting point. And particularly in relation to allergies and similar medical conditions, this information can take on additional value in regards to how safe it is to try a product, and what reaction to look for.

Thank you for your attention and willingness to read this far, and I hope you find the information we provide here valuable and of some use! Please keep in mind that none of the information we include here is meant to be taken as medical advice or information, and is purely the result of practical experience from the perspective of a consumer. What is suggested, reviewed, and provided here does not necessarily reflect the experiences you may or have had, and keep in mind that we are looking at these products from the perspective of those that have dealt with allergic reactions and other health complications in connection with a chronic disease.

Oh-and while Munchkin is not able to actually use the keyboard (except to write gibberish or to chase the mouse icon around, which is just an unbelievable amount of fun!), her thoughts and feelings are certainly kept in mind when we're writing. And she's usually sitting in my lap, so that's an added bonus for figuring out her "musings" :)!

Thank you again so much!

Heather n' Munchkin
